I am not, however, ready to be done with the social stuff. Tonight is my ward's closing social and while it will be tons of fun, I'm going to be really sad when I leave this ward. I have made some of the best friends out here. The good news is most of the girls will be around next year, so I won't be completely lonely. I'm rooming with three other girls from my ward next year. I'm beyond excited; these girls are so incredible!!!! Here's a picture of us from the invitational dance:
We're not all that crazy....most of the time....:) Speaking of Invitational, It was SO MUCH FUN!!!! I got asked by a guy in my ward, Scott. We went as part of this big group, where these girls were too. We danced for forever and it was so much fun. My feet were killing, so once we got back, we all got changed into pjs and then met at Carter's apartment for cookies. It was definitely a night to remember.
Btw, definitely curled my hair for the first time- with a flat-iron. Feel free to be jealous :)
Anyway, life out here is winding down and I must admit, it has been the best year ever. I've loved every minute, even the hard ones. I love BYU and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
