This past Saturday, my roommate and I went to "The Thing About Love," a dance concert put on by the Contemporary Dance Theatre. I'm not sure I could say enough good things about it.
Absolutely unbelievable.
I was moved to tears more than once, and at the end of one of the pieces, I leaned over to Megan and said, "I don't want that to end yet." I've missed dancing a lot since I stopped after high school, and while I never was a huge fan of contemporary dance, I remembered acutely why I loved dancing so much. The performance pushed me, made me feel every emotion in the world and then some. It was expressive, powerful, quiet, and poignant.
One of my highlights for sure.
Sidenote - Meg and I had someone take a picture of us so I could put it here . . . and it came out SO awful, so you get my ticket instead. Lame I know.
