Crying in Target

We're just gonna throw this out in the open.  I have made it abundantly clear on this blog that I can be quite emotional, and those emotions tend to come out my eyes. Not even just sadness or frustration. An embarrassingly wide array of emotions turn into tears.

So I had a moment this past week, strolling through the "home" section of Target (I'm obsessed with baskets right now; I want all of them).  I was thinking about my plan for the next day and making a mental to-do list and BAM!

Tears streaming down my face, and I didn't know how to stop them.

Now, I've become really comfortable crying in public. I know that my face looks red and blotchy (nothing graceful about it) but I'm not nearly as embarrassed as I used to be. In fact, there should be some kind of badge of courage for people willing to soldier on in society with tears in your eyes. Or on their face and all over their nose.

And I would have earned that badge more times than I can count.

Also, what do you think of this basket? I'm so tempted...
