I've been experimenting with my hair in a variety of twists, braids, buns, and curls for the past few weeks. Yesterday, I wore my hair completely straight for the first time in a while and got more compliments than the past two weeks combined. Message received.

I've been cooking a lot lately, and really enjoying it. I make a stellar homemade alfredo sauce.

There's a student at work who has nicknamed me "Smiles" and I don't like it.

Jurassic World. Twice.

My siblings are the best, and they help me get through the hard stuff. LOVE Y'ALL!!!

I've been touristing a lot after work. The new exhibition at the National Gallery on Gustave Caillebotte is fantastic. That's the kind of impressionism I can get behind (The Floor Scrapers is my favorite).

Last week I lost my planner, and my whole life fell apart. I found it today in my car, but for the first time in my life I'm considering using an electronic calendar.
