Five Things

One of the best feelings in the world is having someone love your book recommendation. Knowing that they trusted me enough to give it a try feels really special, since reading a book takes a significant amount of time.

I've been watching this season of Survivor with a couple of my friends each week and it's been an absolute blast. They are long time Survivor fans, so they give me all the background on the people and they understand the strategy better than I do. It's a fun little weekly get together.

This article was eye opening and it made me glad I've never placed a bet.

I went to see Beauty and the Beast at the National Theatre this week (I was actually late! I missed the first few minutes, but got lucky with a very gracious usher who let me in before the first song to slip onto the back row). It was a delight - beautiful costumes, big dance numbers, and a stand-out performance from Kyra Belle Johnson as Belle. I have some complaints, but overall it was a great night!

I saw the daffodils above on my run earlier this week. Spring has finally arrived and I'm thrilled.
